Sustainable development

Waberer's Holding is fully comitted to sustainable development. This objective is served by applying the latest achievements in transportation, forwarding and logistics. The Group devotes special attention to the protection of the envorinment and so applies an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. In order to minimise harmful emissions, the Group fleet is being steadly modernised, commissioning trucks in the EURO V category.

As a part of its corporate social reponsibility policy Waberer's Holding has, as a priority, for several years provided assistance for the training and education to the highest level of the professionals in the fields of transportation, forwarding and logsitics in the interest of more well-trained peaple joining the sector. Another area of support policy, today a key feature of corporate culture, is represented by helping the socially disadvantaged. The funds set aside for this each year are channelled to those colleges and universities as well as foundations that have clearly important social roles and operate in a transparent and proper manner.

As part of its social corporate responsibility policy Waberer's Group donated the most modern ambulance of Hungary to the Hungarian Children Safety Service. Furthermore, we have traditionally supported the Hungarian higher education in the fields of logistics, transport engineering and forwarding: at the Budapest and Győr universities dozens of students are awarded the Waberer's scholarship.
